**🏛️ Must-See Temples and Palaces** Start at the Grand Palace and Wat Phra Kaew, open daily from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM, with a 500 THB entry fee. Nearby, Wat Pho houses the Reclining Buddha and is open until 6:30 PM, costing 200 THB. For a smaller, less crowded temple, visit Wat Suthat, known for its giant swing, open 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with a 100 THB fee. Dress modestly: cover shoulders and knees, or rent a sarong for 20 THB. **🛶 Explore Canals and Riverside** Take a longtail boat tour through the Thonburi canals, costing around 1,000 THB per hour for a private boat, or join a shared tour for 150 THB. The Chao Phraya Express Boat is a cheap alternative, with fares from 15 THB for a single ride. Hop off at Tha Tien pier to visit Wat Arun, which is especially stunning at sunset. For a romantic dinner, try Supanniga Cruise, a dinner cruise from 1,500 THB per person. **🍜 Street Food and Markets** Yaowarat Road in Chinatown is a street food paradise, best visited after 6 PM when stalls open. Must-tries include grilled river prawns at Nai Ek Roll Noodle and mango sticky rice at Kor Panich, a shop that has been open since 1932. For a daytime market, head to Or Tor Kor Market near Chatuchak, open 6 AM to 6 PM, where you can sample fresh fruits and local dishes. Don't miss the weekend Chatuchak Market, open Saturday and Sunday from 9 AM to 6 PM, with over 15,000 stalls. **🛍️ Shopping and Modern Bangkok** Siam Paragon, MBK Center, and Terminal 21 are major malls easily reached by BTS Skytrain. For a unique experience, visit the ICONSIAM mall on the river, which has a free shuttle boat from Saphan Taksin pier. If you're looking for souvenirs, try the Artbox夜市 (Artbox Night Market), a pop-up market that moves around, typically open from 4 PM to 11 PM. For high-end brands, head to Central Embassy, open 10 AM to 10 PM. **🌃 Rooftop Bars and Nightlife** Sky Bar at Lebua State Tower offers breathtaking views, but drinks start at 800 THB; dress smart casual. For a more affordable rooftop, try Above Riva at Riva Surya Bangkok, with cocktails around 300 THB. Khao San Road is the backpacker hub for cheap drinks and lively bars, open until late. For a local scene, check out Thonglor and Ekkamai, where you'll find trendy clubs and live music venues. **🎭 Cultural Shows and Performances** The Siam Niramit show is a spectacular cultural performance with a buffet dinner, starting at 1,500 THB, located on Tiamruammit Road. For traditional dance, try the Joe Louis Puppet Theatre, with shows at 7 PM and 8:30 PM, tickets from 900 THB. Muay Thai fights at Rajadamnern Stadium are a must for sports fans, with matches on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays from 6 PM, tickets from 1,000 THB. Book in advance for the best seats. **🚲 Day Trips and Outdoor Activities** Escape the city with a bike tour through Bang Krachao, the 'green lung' of Bangkok, accessible by ferry from Klong Toey pier for 10 THB. Or take a day trip to Ayutthaya, ancient capital ruins, by train from Hua Lamphong Station for 20 THB, about 1.5 hours. For a unique experience, join a Thai cooking class at Silom Thai Cooking School, costing 1,200 THB for a half-day including market tour. These activities offer a break from the urban hustle. **💆 Relaxation and Wellness** Bangkok is famous for its massages; a traditional Thai massage at Health Land starts at 400 THB for two hours. For a luxurious spa day, try Divana Spa, with packages from 2,500 THB. Many hotels offer rooftop pools; the ones at Hotel Indigo and Sofitel So are open to non-guests for a fee. Don't forget to stay hydrated and take breaks from the heat.
